Description

As the Lead for Wealth Management Technology & Digital Platforms, you will be at the forefront of innovation in our Individual Markets Profit Center. Your focus will be on enhancing advisor technologies across the Protection & Wealth segments, including life and disability insurance, as well as investment products for affluent clients in the US. This role requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about digital transformation and innovative problem-solving, playing a key role in delivering integrated digital solutions that enhance advisors’ experience and support their success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Craft and implement a unified technology strategy for advisors and producers across all Individual Markets product lines.
  • Integration: Develop a comprehensive advisor workstation by integrating multiple data sources and industry tools into a competitive technology platform.
  • Transformation Leadership: Lead the transformation of our technology landscape from design through implementation, ensuring alignment with our technology strategy.
  • Vendor Management: Manage multimillion-dollar vendor relationships, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Innovation & Change Management: Champion a culture of innovation, driving progress while embracing change and challenging the status quo.

Who You Are

  • Experienced Professional: 15+ years in wealth management and financial industries, with a strong background in technology and engineering.
  • Transformational Leader: Proven ability to balance risks, manage capital allocations, and navigate complex changes.
  • Problem Solver: Excellent at overcoming obstacles and seeing the big picture.
  • Technical Expert: Deep understanding of multi-custodian clearing firms (e.g., Pershing, National Financial), advisory platforms (e.g., Envestnet, Orion), and turnkey asset management platforms.
  • Effective Communicator: Able to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical business leaders.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with agile development methodologies on large-scale programs.
  • Demonstrated success managing diverse teams and consultants.
  • Experience with modern infrastructure, application development practices, and cloud-optimized solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience; protection/insurance exposure is a plus.
