Role Overview

Join our dynamic team as an enthusiastic and skilled SAT/Test Prep tutor. You will support students in preparing for the SAT across all test sections, as well as potentially other subjects. Your objective will be to provide engaging and personalized instruction that empowers students to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally and promptly with students, parents, and team members.
• Assess students' knowledge and understanding of the subject matter.
• Develop and deliver customized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs.
• Provide clear and engaging instruction to facilitate effective learning.
• Monitor student progress, offering feedback and support.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to promote student success.
• Manage your schedule effectively to meet student needs.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of professional tutoring experience, with a minimum of 1 year in online tutoring.
• Ability to tutor all sections of the SAT and provide relevant test prep materials.
• Strong subject matter expertise in the areas you will teach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in online tutoring tools and technology.
• Flexible and adaptable teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Patient and empathetic, able to motivate and connect with students.
• Fast, reliable internet connection, a computer or laptop, stylus pen, and headphones required.
• Professional, quiet environment conducive for tutoring sessions.
• U.S.-based bank account and valid SSN.
• Availability for at least 10 hours per week, with 70% of availability during peak hours (Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 11pm Eastern).
