This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a dedicated Occupational Therapist on a contract basis, with students across various grade levels from PreK to Adult. Virtual Occupational Therapists with experience in remote school settings are also encouraged to apply.

Position Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting students’ success and participation in school activities. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other education professionals will be essential to ensure that students receive the therapy they need to thrive. The district is looking for candidates ready to interview this week and start next week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students across the district, from PreK to Adult.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine each student's unique occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ goals and ensure progress.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and the educational team to support student success.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including therapy session notes and progress reports.
  
  

Qualifications

• A valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California.
• Experience working in a school setting is required; remote experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
