Key Qualifications

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with virtual assessments and counseling is a plus
  • Familiarity with virtual platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs and eligibility for special education services.
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students virtually, both one-on-one and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to create and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Actively participate in virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of tailored IEP goals.
  • Offer consultation to teachers and school staff to support students’ academic and behavioral development.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and virtual service delivery.
