Description

Are you a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist looking to make a difference from the comfort of your own home? This rewarding opportunity allows you to provide remote support to schools in Maryland. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development by collaborating with educators, administrators, and parents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to understand students’ needs.
  • Work with school teams to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide remote counseling and intervention services to students.
  • Assist in crisis prevention and intervention.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and consultations with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
  • Stay informed about state and federal regulations related to special education.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
  • Maryland School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with virtual assessment tools and technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a school setting.
