The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping our organization’s future. In this capacity, you will design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs that meet our critical business needs. Your expertise in instructional design, e-learning, and facilitation will aid in crafting engaging learning experiences rooted in adult learning principles.

Collaboration with technical experts is essential to translate complex knowledge into effective training programs. We seek a flexible, organized, and inquisitive professional who thrives in a collaborative setting and excels in problem-solving and delivering innovative solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders, including the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and HR Business Partners, to assess training needs and support learning opportunities.
  • Conduct needs analyses to develop targeted learning solutions aimed at achieving specific business development and growth goals.
  • Develop, enhance, and deliver training programs in various formats such as classroom, e-learning, and on-the-job settings.
  • Support the design and implementation of programs that align with our growth mindset culture.
  • Establish project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate training sessions for diverse audiences, both in-person and online.
  • Create pre- and post-assessments to measure learning outcomes and program effectiveness, while identifying trends in data.
  • Prepare facilitator materials including PowerPoint slides, guides, and evaluation tools, conducting train-the-trainer sessions as necessary.
  • Utilize learning management systems (LMS) for managing and delivering training programs.
  • Track and resolve issues to ensure effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Analyze data to provide reports on issues and resolutions, supporting continuous improvement efforts.

What We Value

  • Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience in education, Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in business development roles, including at least 5 years as an instructional designer, trainer, or learning specialist.
  • Proven track record in creating curriculums focused on business development and growth.
  • Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Strong understanding of training and development principles and adult learning theory.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, adapt to change, and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint and MS Teams.
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies like ADDIE and/or SAM, and experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems.

The anticipated annual base salary for this role ranges from \(83,000 to \)132,000, with potential variations based on geographic location.
