Your missions

Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. If you possess a background in SBA lending or commercial lending, and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and lead by example, ensuring a positive experience for customers and team members.
  • Collaborate with the SVP/SBA Audit & Special Assets Manager to address problem loans, foreclosures, and litigation to minimize bank losses.
  • Oversee collection, negotiation, and resolution of past-due loan payments for the SBA Portfolio, adhering to SBA and bank regulations.
  • Conduct annual reviews of marginal SBA loans, including property value assessments, financial and credit analysis, and risk identification.
  • Monitor and review PIP disbursements for the SBA Portfolio to ensure timely processing and compliance.
  • Perform thorough audits on problematic loans, addressing issues based on SBA and bank guidelines.
  • Gather necessary data for SBA 10-Tab submissions and assist in reviewing legal notices related to the SBA Portfolio.
  • Assist in lien perfection and resolve portfolio issues as assigned, including managing past due taxes and force-placed insurance.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date contact information for the SBA portfolio, including skip tracing when necessary.
  • Provide detailed reports on special asset efforts, discuss portfolio recommendations with management, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in banking, with a focus on special assets, financial analysis, or credit review.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate, and consumer loan products.
  • Advanced understanding of state and federal lending laws, regulations, and bank policies.
  • Proficiency in title policies and loan regulations such as RESPA, HMDA, and other relevant compliance standards.
