Your missions

Description

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Underwriter with specialization in habitational real estate and property management risks. This role encompasses underwriting insurance for various properties, including apartment buildings, hotels, motels, boarding houses, mobile home parks, and student housing. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in general liability, property, casualty, excess and surplus (E&S), workers’ compensation, employment practices, errors & omissions, crime, loss of income, and environmental insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Underwriting insurance focusing on apartment buildings, hotels, and other habitational risks.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing producers.
  • Underwriting new and renewal business to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Addressing and resolving policy and submission-related issues effectively.
  • Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of policies and endorsements.
  • Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in insurance underwriting.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in underwriting software and tools.
