About The Team

Our Tech Advisory practice is part of Advisory Services (AS), offering a range of services including transaction support, bankruptcy and restructuring advisory, valuation, corporate finance advisory, litigation, dispute resolution consulting, and forensic investigation. We collaborate with other practices to deliver solutions across various industries, from financial institutions to manufacturing.

Key Service Offerings

  • IT Due Diligence: Assess the current state of IT for Private Equity Groups evaluating target companies, providing key recommendations for post-investment execution.
  • IT Strategy Roadmaps: Develop multi-year IT strategies aligned with key business objectives, assessing risk and creating phased implementation plans.
  • IT System Selection: Guide companies through critical IT decisions, uncovering business requirements, researching potential providers, and building consensus.
  • IT Project Management Office/Office of the CIO: Support the execution of critical projects, delivering through a structured project management framework.
  • IT Mergers, Acquisitions, and Integrations: Set strategy and oversee the integration of all IT-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Partner with clients to understand their business objectives, technology challenges, and opportunities. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop actionable technology strategies.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and deliver technology roadmaps and implementation plans. Provide guidance on IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee IT projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget by coordinating with implementation partners and stakeholders.
  • Business Process Review: Analyze clients’ business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and digital transformation.
  • Technology Solutions: Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that meet clients’ needs. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and senior management. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and strategic recommendations.
  • Mentorship and Development: Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of the consulting practice. Share knowledge and best practices with the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in technology consulting, including IT Due Diligence, IT project management, or a similar role servicing private equity clients.
  • Experience with Manufacturing & Distribution clients is a plus.
  • Previous data analytics experience.
  • Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, software development, and digital transformation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, COBIT) are a plus.

Work Arrangement
