Our Texas-based, early-stage AI-driven client has developed a next-generation networking and business guidance platform that drives collective intelligence and brand visibility. They have an immediate US-based remote opening for an experienced AI/LLM Engineer to meet their exciting growth plans.

AI Engineer responsibilities

Lead the fine-tuning of LLMs for specific tasks using techniques like LoRA and QLoRA.
Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
Apply deep learning knowledge of transformer models, especially BERT, for NLP solutions.
Develop models for processing and analyzing unstructured data, especially natural language.
Optimize AI models for performance, reducing latency and improving efficiency.
Collaborate in the development of custom kernels for machine learning in NLP workloads.
Implement A/B testing to validate model improvements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align AI/ML model requirements with system capabilities.

AI Engineer requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience with Python, focusing on NLP and LLM frameworks.
Deep understanding of transformer models like BERT and related architectures.
Hands-on experience with fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA and QLoRA.
Proven experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies for ML model validation.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, particularly for NLP.
Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools.
