Your missions

Description

As a cybersecurity professional, you will play a vital role in identifying adversary tactics and techniques to safeguard critical systems. This position offers the opportunity to develop effective cybersecurity strategies and mitigate pressing vulnerabilities. Your analyses will go beyond just data; you’ll be narrating the story behind the intelligence to inform impactful cybersecurity decisions in the defense sector.

In this role, you will serve as a Cybersecurity Analyst for military clients, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your tasks will include planning, coordinating, and assisting with the development of security documentation and Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts. You’ll prioritize tasks, manage RMF activities, and help ensure compliance while mitigating risks.

Collaboration is key, as you’ll provide expert guidance to ensure alignment with DoD and Army RMF policies, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and performing vulnerability assessments with approved DoD tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain RMF security documentation and compliance artifacts.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans using approved DoD tools.
  • Provide guidance and ensure compliance with DoD and Army RMF policies.
  • Prepare and submit system information and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) through eMASS.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity and the RMF process.
  • Familiarity with DoD 8500 series, AR 25-2, and related cybersecurity policies.
  • Experience with eMASS, DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and security testing tools like Nessus and SCAP.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity laws, regulations, and risk management.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Army cybersecurity policies.
  • Familiarity with automated cybersecurity processes.
  • CISSP certification (or equivalent).

Clearance Requirement

Applicants selected will need to undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for classified information access. A Secret clearance is required.

Work Model
