Your missions

Description

We are seeking an Expert Product Manager who will play a key role in operationalizing innovative grid assets to enhance customer service. This position offers a unique chance to engage with exciting projects, including the development and management of Remote Grids that utilize cutting-edge technologies such as microgrids, solar energy, batteries, and fuel-powered generation. Your contribution will be crucial in driving the integration of these new technologies and ensuring their transition into standard business operations smoothly.

You will be part of a forward-thinking team that bridges the gap between early-stage innovation and established operational practices. By deploying new technologies, documenting processes, and creating efficient systems, you'll contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more reliable grid. This position primarily involves remote work, with occasional on-site collaboration required, typically 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operations and maintenance (O&M) functions for Remote Grids and emerging grid technologies.
  • Monitor the performance of grid assets, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and own the roadmap for scaling O&M functions and ensure a smooth handoff to operational teams.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization to align projects with company goals and standards.
  • Facilitate collaborative meetings, driving progress towards monthly and annual objectives.
  • Manage relationships with O&M vendors to ensure sustainable, high-performing assets.
  • Oversee new technology programs, such as distribution-connected Battery Energy Storage Systems, improving reliability and reducing costs.
  • Support IT system integration and the development of fleet management software for Remote Grids.
  • Implement continuous improvement methods to optimize team processes and outcomes.

About You

  • Passionate about innovation, collaboration, and making an impact.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple moving parts.
  • A team player who works well with cross-functional groups and excels in building consensus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient and effective execution.
  • Able to balance short-term project demands with long-term program improvements.
  • Comfortable leading initiatives and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, particularly in leading complex projects or programs.
  • Experience with data analysis, operational performance tracking, and vendor management.
  • Strong communication skills, able to convey complex ideas to various audiences.
  • Knowledge of electric grid design, renewable energy systems, and regulatory processes (preferred but not required).

Salary Range

  • Minimum: $122,000
  • Midpoint: $158,000
  • Maximum: $194,000
