Your missions

Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our thriving Mechanical team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to guide the mechanical discipline team through projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse portfolio of innovative projects across various market sectors, including Commercial, Education, Government, Healthcare, and Hospitality.
  • Design and plan sustainable mechanical systems for buildings and facilities.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact with clients on MEP topics and act as an Engineer of Record.
  • Ensure the quality of engineering design, adhering to relevant Codes and Client's expectations.
  • Lead assigned project teams and participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
  • Mentor and delegate tasks to junior staff, fostering their professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (15+ years) in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, with a strong background in HVAC design.
  • Current PE license.
  • Proficiency in software such as REVIT, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, IES, MS Office, etc. for complex calculations.
  • Strong knowledge of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.
  • LEED AP BD+C accreditation and WELL Certification are desired.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and technical capabilities.

Work Environment

  • This position offers a hybrid-remote work environment, with the flexibility to achieve a great work/life balance.
  • You must be located in Portland or Seattle and eligible to work in the U.S. to attend on-site project meetings as needed.
