Description

We are seeking a passionate individual skilled in building relationships and partnerships within the information technology sector. This full-time, salaried position provides an exciting opportunity to lead and support our mission and operational functions, reporting to the Board of Directors Executive Committee.

About Us

Our organization unites IT, telecommunications, software, and hardware professionals throughout Maine for education, information sharing, and networking. Our diverse membership consists of end-users, business leaders, vendors, consultants, government officials, and other stakeholders. We host Maine’s premier annual technology conference and tradeshow, which allows tech professionals, innovators, and exhibitors to learn and network. Additionally, we organize monthly educational and social events featuring independent speakers discussing key business topics from September to April, including webinars and Peers and Beers socials held at various locations across Maine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the face and professional leader of the organization.
  • Oversee fundraising and public speaking initiatives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact.
  • Collaborate closely with an enthusiastic volunteer Board of Directors and various board subcommittees.
  • Nurture and expand the organization’s presence in order to fulfill our mission of connecting IT professionals and business leaders.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Proficiency in program development and task facilitation

  • A positive attitude with integrity and passion
  • Previous experience working with a Board of Directors or similar entity
  • Leadership, management, and fundraising experience
  • Previous non-profit leadership experience is preferred
  • Flexibility regarding duties and schedule

Compensation

This pivotal role within our organization offers compensation commensurate with experience and abilities, based on agreed-upon roles and responsibilities.
