Senior Fullstack Developer

About:

My client is an innovative fintech company transforming private equity investing through automation. Their platform replaces manual processes like spreadsheets and emails with a secure, fully integrated system that simplifies deal structuring from start to finish. Founded three years ago and backed by top investors, they raised Series A funding earlier this year and are preparing for their next phase of growth.

The platform caters to private equity stakeholders, including investors, lawyers, and accountants, enabling them to manage transactions more efficiently while reducing security risks like email interception.

The team consists of 29 people, with 15 engineers handling all development in-house. They are now looking to expand to support their growing customer base and evolving platform features.

Role:

We are seeking a talented Fullstack Software Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will help deliver a world-class product while making key architectural choices to ensure the platform can scale effectively. You'll work across the stack, from backend systems to frontend implementations, contributing to the platform's security and performance as it handles high-value private equity transactions.

You'll work with technologies like Node.js, React, and AWS in a fast-paced environment, supporting a diverse range of fintech clients and driving the company's continued success.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and maintaining complex backend systems.
• A track record of delivering product features end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A team player who is committed to providing an excellent user experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automation tools like Playwright or Cypress.
• Exposure to private equity or fintech environments.
• Familiarity with security best practices and high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain core features across the platform, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Contribute to the scalability and security of the platform as the company grows.
• Help shape the technical direction of the platform and contribute to its long-term success.
