Your missions

Description

Join our dedicated healthcare team in providing exceptional patient care as a member of the Clinical Operations Support team. You will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to enhance the patient experience and ensure smooth clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in patient care under the guidance of physicians and in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Gather and assess patient information, maintaining accurate and timely chart entries and forwarding charts as needed.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up on patients' progress and adherence to care plans.
  • Empower patients and caregivers to self-manage their conditions and access available resources.
  • Confirm and clarify written orders prior to implementing delegated tasks.
  • Adhere to policies for infection control when handling and issuing devices.
  • Recognize emergency situations and implement emergency procedures according to clinic guidelines.
  • Provide tailored patient education and distribute relevant health information materials.

Support Operations

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow and clinical operations.
  • Handle medically related phone calls as directed by physicians, including making and receiving calls.
  • Order, stock, and maintain exam room supplies and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) device inventory.
  • Notify patients of test results and schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Conduct Remote Patient Monitoring sessions for physicians.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to support team objectives.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Strong background in clinical settings with a solid understanding of medical terminology.
  • Proficient in explaining set-up procedures calmly and methodically, with effective communication skills to interact with the healthcare team.
  • Skilled in addressing device-related issues with a problem-solving approach.
  • Quick learner of computer systems, including electronic medical record (EMR) software, with the ability to accurately enter data and manage information.
  • Strong task prioritization and time management skills, capable of maintaining a HIPAA-compliant workspace.

Language Skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required. Ability to translate medical abbreviations and communicate effectively within the healthcare team.

Education Requirements

  • Nationally recognized certification as a Medical Assistant is required. Two years of medical assistant experience may substitute for certification.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with EMR systems is also preferred.
  • Personal experience in care management, particularly in cardiology or chronic disease management, is advantageous.

Environmental/Working Conditions

  • Hybrid office/remote work setting with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Fast-paced work environment with frequent phone calls and interruptions, requiring effective prioritization of multiple projects.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with staff, managers, physicians, and external customers.

Physical/Mental Demands

  • Continuous standing and sitting, with frequent walking, bending, and stooping.
  • Ability to lift 10-20 pounds as needed.
  • Exposure to potential hazards and infectious diseases in a clinical setting.

  • Starting at $14.57 per hour
