Job Description

At Natek, we are looking for an Analyst to support a medical technology company with expertise in Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM). This role involves the discovery and analysis of various infrastructures, including UNIX, Windows, Linux, AIX, and databases such as SQL and Oracle. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operating system and database logs and will work closely with system administrators to secure accounts by determining the best methods for remediation.


Your Responsibilities

  • Account Remediation - support the remediation of OS and DB accounts with unchanged passwords.
  • Collaborate with system admins to secure accounts through password updates or alternative methods such as activity log reviews.
  • Risk Assessment - assess how inappropriate access could impact SOX compliance, such as data changes or activity log deletions.
  • Evaluate security risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Log Monitoring - ensure activity logs are available and assessable for review to detect suspicious access.

Our Requirements

  • Strong experience with PIM/PAM tools and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in analyzing infrastructure systems across UNIX, Windows, Linux, AIX, and databases (SQL & Oracle).
  • In-depth knowledge of OS and DB logs for Windows, Linux, SQL, and Oracle environments.
  • Ability to assess risk and identify potential misuse of accounts.
  • Experience collaborating with system administrators on remediation efforts.
  • Project management skills to oversee and track remediation tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of SOX regulations and their impact on system security.
