Job Purpose/Role
Allianz Holding Eins GmbH is responsible for Central Europe (CE) Region focusing on strategic development, planning and leadership for financial services sectors within the region. The region covers
11 countries including Austria, Bulgaria, Czechia, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine.
CE Legal and Compliance is advising regional management on all legal and compliance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and restructurings, strategic partnerships, and implementation of group wide compliance policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Legal and Compliance Team in all legal and compliance matters, in particular implementation of all group wide legal, compliance and privacy policies.
- Research, monitoring and interpretation of legal and regulatory changes and developments in CE, with a focus on Austria.
- Supporting the development, management and maintenance of the Compliance Framework for CE region.
- Support in managing Supervisory Board Meetings, Audit Committee and Shareholder meetings, including document management.
- Supporting the Legal and Compliance Team in preparing regular conference calls as well as regional conferences and trainings.
- Preparing presentations and other documents in relation to legal and compliance relevant topics.
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
- Currently studying for Master’s degree in law
- Fluent in English; German would be a plus
- Registered as a student for the entire duration of the internship
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent team player and good communicator with distinctive social skills
- Enjoy working in an international environment
- Previous practical experience/internships would be a plus
Offered salary: 2800 €/month on the full-time basis
