Your missions

We are looking for experienced members of the public to join our Board of Directors at a strategic level.

This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our support for neurodiverse children and their families. As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help drive the charity forward.

What are we looking for?

Marketing strategy Governance Strategic development and planning Legal HR Providing guidance on new initiatives Business planning and strategy  Other issues in which the trustee has special expertise such as knowledge of diversity, representation, and inclusion.

What will you be doing?

Potential Kids is an award winning charity based in Welwyn/Hatfield which provides learning, social and sports opportunities to Neurodivergent children / young people (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Tourette Syndrome amongst other conditions). We are particularly keen to recruit members from Hertfordshire community who have one or more of the following skills Strategic leadership Charity Governance Marketing and PR HR and Staff performance Legal knowledge Please send your CV or expression of interest via the Reach platform You will be invited to meet with members of the Board A DBS will be required and 2 references. The Board meet each quarter either in person or virtually. The volunteer would attend Board meetings. The Volunteer would be are welcome to work within our outlets, may want to represent the charity at strategic meetings around the county. The Volunteers would be invited to charity events and formal events to promote the charity and to network but it is not mandatory. They would be welcome to accompany trips and activities to see the wonderful work we do in action.
