About the Role:


As an Economic Analyst, you will leverage your expertise in urban economics and property research to perform thorough market analyses and develop advanced econometric and financial models. Your role will involve providing strategic insights across diverse market segments, including the analysis of market trends, the forecasting of demand and supply dynamics, and the evaluation of investment feasibility. Additionally, you will play a key role in offering data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making and drive strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on the residential housing market in Australia, including monitoring housing market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and policy changes.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments, as well as generate accurate and insightful reports on market conditions and investment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, build datasets, and identify relevant variables for analysis and modeling purposes.
  • Apply research insights to generate marketing content for lead cultivation, including reports, blogs, and other content that highlights our proficiency in the residential real estate sector.
  • Create and deliver high-quality comprehensive reports and presentations, effectively communicating research findings and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of data analysis and visualization capabilities within the organization, leveraging advanced tools and techniques to present data in a clear and compelling manner.
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance, business, statistics, or related field.
  • Understanding of and keen interest in the Australian property market, including current trends, drivers, and factors influencing the industry.
  • Knowledge of macroeconomics and its impact on the housing market, including interest rates, employment, GDP growth, and demographic trends.

Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in conducting detailed research on economic issues, analysing data, and forecasting market trends.
