Job Summary

Main Objectives and Duties:

 

1. Helps drive company values and philosophy 

  • Ensures that curriculum is created within company process and expectations, including but not limited to experiential learning, adult learning principles etc.
  • Provide consultation and project management in curriculum and instructional design integrating learning technologies in-class, hybrid and fully online courses and programs
  • Propose course designs
  • Assist trainers and Subject Matter Experts (SME) with assessment of instructional outcomes; analyzing standards, goals of curriculum; and identifying and implementing high-level learning strategies to meet these goals
  • Support trainers, subject matter experts (SME) and leaders in the integration of social media tools, graphics and emerging learning technologies to facilitate training practices and participant learning experiences
  • Adherence to company guidelines and procedures

 

2. Training Needs Identification

  • Conducts needs assessments, designs and develops training programs and facilitates the delivery of both custom and corporate training programs
  • Works with the Executive leadership team to address employee and client development needs.
  • Develops a library for all modules and curriculums

 

3. Support Learning Technologies implementation in training   

  • Support Learning Management System (LMS) and learning technologies for  leaders, SMEs and participants.
  • Conduct workshops, demonstrations or telephone training sessions for SME, Trainers, leaders and participants.
  • Create documentation and instructions to assist course developers.

4. Training effectiveness measurement

  • Identify gaps and create the action plan.
  • Design training that will be evaluated using the Kirkpatrick model of evaluation

 

Area of expertise (Skills)

College Graduate in educational instructional design, educational technology or related academic discipline or equivalent experience.

Other Skills and Experiences (Min)
  • Experience in instructional design, educational technology, distance learning; college instruction or training development; experience using and supporting learning management systems; experience with training and development and/or teaching; familiarity with learning management systems, Articulate and/or  Captivate

 

  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) DESIRABLE.
