Requirements and responsibilities
 
We are seeking talented developers to join our team, focusing on feature development for our client's mobile app. You will work alongside existing teams to enhance the app's functionality and deliver a seamless user experience.
What you'll do
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java while following best practices and coding standards;
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality and efficient development;
  • Work with backend developers to integrate Android apps with RESTful APIs and other third-party services;
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver a user-friendly and visually appealing interface;
  • Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize performance to deliver stable and reliable apps;
  • Maintain documentation of development processes, technical designs, and APIs to support future maintenance and enhancements;
  • Assist in the submission and update process of the app on Google Play Store, including beta testing, release planning, and post-release fixes;
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to deliver features in a timely and efficient manner.
 
What you'll bring
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
  • 3+ years of experience in Android development;
  • Proven experience in developing Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java;
  • Experience with integrating and consuming RESTful APIs;
  • Understanding of Android architecture components such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Room;
  • Experience working with Android SDK, Android Studio, and version control systems like Git;
  • Strong understanding of mobile app design guidelines and performance optimization;
  • Knowledge of design patterns such as MVVP, MVP, or MVC;
  • Experience with Android libraries such as Retrofit, Coroutines, and Dagger/Hilt for dependency injection;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes for Android app development;
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude toward learning new technologies and improving existing skills.
