Your missions

Our client, a leading online casino licensed under Curacao, is seeking an experienced and well-connected Head of Payments to oversee and optimize all payment operations. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring seamless payment processes, identifying new payment solutions, and resolving complex payment issues in challenging markets. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, have deep industry connections, and be highly familiar with the Softswiss platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all payment operations, ensuring smooth processing of transactions for deposits and withdrawals across multiple markets.
  • Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with new payment service providers, ensuring a broad range of payment solutions for different regions.
  • Monitor payment processes and resolve any issues, including outages or delays, by identifying and implementing alternative solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Stay updated on the latest payment trends, regulations, and solutions, particularly in complex markets where payment options are limited or challenging.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including compliance, customer support, and tech, to ensure a seamless payment experience for players.
  • Analyze payment data and performance to optimize transaction success rates, minimize fees, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulations, including AML and KYC, across all payment channels and markets.
  • Travel to industry conferences and events to network, foster relationships with payment providers, and stay ahead of market developments.
  • Liaise with the Softswiss platform to ensure full integration and functionality of payment solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payments management, preferably within the online gambling or iGaming sector.
  • Deep familiarity with the Softswiss platform and its payment functionalities.
  • Strong network of contacts within the payments industry, particularly in complex markets and regions with unique challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex payment issues, including finding alternative solutions during service disruptions.
  • Strong understanding of payment regulations, including AML, KYC, and compliance requirements in various regions.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret payment data and drive decisions based on insights.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple payment methods and providers across diverse markets.
  • Willingness and availability to travel frequently for industry conferences and networking events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
