As a Territory Business Manager on the Alternate Site team, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. You will lead sales activities including new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory, limited industry or product line within Alternate Site accounts.

What you'll be doing:

  • Achieving sales goals for Baxter’s product lines which includes Baxter’s Access, Drug Delivery, Nutrition, Pharmacy, and Fluid Therapy portfolios
  • Implementing sales strategies and executing business plans to achieve sales volume, product mix, and profit objectives
  • Calling on alternate site customers include (Home Infusion, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Consulting Pharmacy’s, Physician Offices, Oncology and Distributors), delivering effective sales presentations, providing technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and education
  • Working in close harmony with Virtual Sales, Infusion Systems, Pharmacy and Nutrition Specialist reps to achieve assigned goals and objectives
  • Protecting, servicing, and growing current base of business
  • Managing and maximizing Baxter GPO contracts
  • Serving as a resource for market information for management and marketing

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelors Degree with 3+ years experience or 6+ years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of medical sales experience is preferred with ideal candidates having experience with sales in Ambulatory Surgery Centers or Home Infusion settings
  • Ability to take personal accountability for achieving results and has the ability to “win” at each stage of the customer's buying process and ultimately earn the business on the right terms and in the right timeframe through successful negotiation
  • Can maintain current business and drive sustainable long-term sales growth with existing and new customers through teamwork with internal sales and business partners
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as sales negotiation and presentation skills
  • Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $60,000 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for commission.
