Responsibilities:
Objectives
- Responsible for contributing to the overall profitability of the E&S Casualty Division
- Development, management, and execution of a plan to achieve profitable growth and mix of standalone E&S Casualty accounts, focused on primary General Liability.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and execute strategic an underwriting philosophy aimed at small to medium sized E&S casualty accounts written with attachment points reflective of the underlying exposures.
- Evaluate individual broker performance and adjust action plans accordingly.
- Monitor key competitors within territory and segment to position against competitor offerings. Provide competitive intelligence and recommendations to management.
- Develop reports that summarize book characteristics and will assist interested parties in evaluating the book.
- Participate in claims review meetings and actuarial review meetings.
- Maintain contact by phone and/or written correspondence with Skyward broker, policy administration and internal compliance personnel to resolve issues and foster good business relations.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills. This individual should be able to work independently and/or as part of a team to meet established deadlines.

- Strong relationships with agents and brokerages.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience with a commercial insurance company or facultative casualty company and at least 7 years of profitable standalone primary general liability experience
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
