We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Monitoring Consultant. You will lead the assessment, analysis and design of strategy and implementations of observability, monitoring and operations systems to support our enterprise customers.  While we seek an individual with broad monitoring/observability tool experience, this role will also be part of our ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) practice.  This will provide an opportunity to provide and grow knowledge and skills at the intersection of monitoring systems and the ServiceNow suite of solutions, including event management, discovery, service mapping, CMDB and AIOps. 

Desired Skills:

• 5+ years in monitoring using Enterprise monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, Broadcom DX NetOps, IBM Tivoli or similar.
• Preferably experience and certifications in ServiceNow, such as CSA or CIS for ITOM Event Management, Discovery and/or Service Mapping. 
• 5+ years in support of infrastructure technologies, across cloud, networking and platforms. 
• 5+ years in Unix and Linux shell scripting
• 3+ years in SQL query language experience
• Enterprise Monitoring integration experience, with familiarity of technologies such as JSON, REST API, and yaml.
• Preferably 3+ years in Java and Javascript focused on EMS development
• Demonstrated ability to apply expert level technical writing and presentation skills to support creation and publication of project artifacts and documentation.
• Preferably ITIL®V3 Foundation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience/ combination of education and experience.
