Reporting to the Director, Talent and Leadership Development, you will contribute to defining the learning and development vision for the entire company. You will be responsible for mobilizing and coordinating a team of seasoned professionals to ensure the growth and support the professional development of iA Financial Group employees.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage and coach a team of professionals to build an innovative, agile value proposition that meets the organization's current and future needs.

  • Act as a manager-coach and be responsible for the professional development and performance appraisal of your team.

  • Ensure delivery of team activities, prioritize and manage capacity to ensure effective execution.

  • Maintain an effective management system (DMS) and empower team members in problem solving.

  • Organize and structure team meetings, including celebrations and other collaborative events.

  • Provide visibility for team activities and actively participate in representing the team in various forums.

  • Ensure the positioning and evolution of organizational learning ecosystem processes.

  • Optimize the dynamic management of requests as well as the enhancement and promotion of the center of excellence (CoE)'s service and support offering.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the (internal) customer experience, based on feedback and data analysis.

Skills Required:

  • Relevant university degree in fields such as educational technology, guidance sciences, human resources, organizational development, andragogy or other.

  • Over 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in team management.

  • Experience in strategy implementation or change management an asset.

  • Knowledge in the measurement and use of learning data an asset.

  • Experience with various technological tools and methodologies such as LMS, Workday, Storytelling, design thinking etc. an asset.

  • Ability to mobilize teams and foster collaborative work.

  • Strong adaptability and results-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent management of priorities and workload.

  • Strong political acumen.

  • Ability to influence, negotiate and understand issues to influence decisions.

  • Advanced level in both French and English, both orally and in writing, is required for this role. The individual will need to effectively communicate, understand needs, negotiate, and influence internal French & English-speaking partners, such as business partners and sector leaders, as well as external French & English-speaking partners (suppliers) on a weekly basis.
