About Our Client

Our client is a Swiss-based pet insurance provider.

About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level Python Developer (3+ years of experience) for a short-term freelance project (approximately 2 weeks). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with building data pipelines (ETL) and be proficient in using libraries like PyArrow and Pandas. This role is part-time and fully remote, with a project duration of approximately two weeks.

Responsibilities


• Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines for ETL processes.
• Use PyArrow and Pandas to handle large datasets efficiently.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless data integration and processing.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of data in all stages of the pipeline.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Python development experience.
• Proficiency in building data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Experience with PyArrow and Pandas.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good English skills (you will be working with the English-speaking team)

Preferred:

• Experience with other data processing libraries or frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud data services or distributed systems.
