Job description

This is a remote position.

AEST Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.45pm, 1 hour unpaid break

Role and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior developers and stakeholders to understand software requirements and contribute to the design of software solutions

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and secure software solutions using industry best practices

• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other developers on design ideas and technical challenges

• Ensure that software solutions are scalable and extensible in the future

• Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve the quality of software solutions

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of industry experience as a software developer

• Experience developing software solutions using React and Typescript

• Experience with the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) Development (SharePoint and Teams)

• Experience with Agile and Lean software development practices, Continuous Delivery, Continuous

Integration, automated testing best practices, and DevOps

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self-starter with a willingness to learn new things

• Great attention to detail

Bonus Experience:

• Power Platform Development

• Adaptive Cards

• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases

• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

• Experience refactoring complex application codebase with Design Patterns

• Experience integrating with external applications with OAuth

• Experience in leveraging the design and operations guidance according to the Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework across all pillars, including reliability, security, cost optimization, operation excellence and performance efficiency

• Experience with Automated testing tools and libraries

• Experience setting up automated CI/CD pipelines
