Your Opportunity

Our Project Management office has an opportunity to available for a Project Manager to support our Corporate Services teams. This role offers variety in your day-to-day tasks seeing you manage and execute multiple projects at once varying from Service Design, Business Cases to Building new Missions Australia Sites and Services. As the Project Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of the projects and will work closely with your team and the business to manage and influence key stakeholders across our organisation.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop key project management deliverables (including but not limited to project management plan, quality plan, project scope and project plan)
  • Seek input from relevant teams, scope and plan projects identifying activities, tasks and deliverables, milestones, constraints, dependencies, issues, risks, etc. to enable successful delivery of stated objectives
  • Manage project delivery, including issues, risks and dependencies in accordance with the plan and ensure change management procedures are adhered to
  • Provide accurate timely reporting of financial, risk, and overall project status to relevant stakeholders across the organisation
  • Develop, contribute to and update the project business case and provide guidance to the business regarding business case development
  • Prepare presentations and other collateral for stage gate approvals, governance & other relevant purposes and ensure all appropriate approvals are obtained
  • Ensure that project-related organisation change management impacts (people, process and technology) are understood, communicated and managed appropriately
  • Facilitate strategic ideas into tangible deliverables

Requirements for Success

  • 5+ years’ in a similar Project Management role with significant and demonstrated experience in components of multiple implementations
  • Excellent stakeholder liaison skills in controlling the planning and implementation of multiple projects
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across business units with great negotiation skills
  • Clear concise engaging communication style
  • Strong Project methodology execution skills
  • Experience with some or all the following systems: Prince 2, Waterfall, Agile, Microsoft Suite (including Project Management Software, Excel & Visio)
  • Change Management experience is highly desirable
