Excellent patent attorney associate opportunity within an established but expanding practice. Preparation & prosecution of patents, opinions, portfolio management, due diligence, PTAB work, client counseling. At this practice, you will continue to receive great mentoring in a true team environment. This is technically sophisticated work wherein you will engage with a variety of clients at all levels.
Diverse array of hardware and software applications (industrial and consumer electronics, analog and digital circuits, chip architecture, wireless telecommunications, RF, WiFi, power systems, manufacturing automation, electrical instrumentation, test and measurement equipment, biomedical systems, digital imaging, enterprise applications, network security, network protocols, databases, web and cloud services, operating systems, software user interfaces, open source, etc.).
Client assignment and workload will be dependent upon your technical expertise (i.e., software vs. hardware, etc.).
Patent Attorney Requirements:
- Minimum BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
- JD; state bar, USPTO registration
- At least 2 years of full time patent preparation and prosecution experience
- Excellent writing samples
