Purpose of Role:

nShift is on an exciting high-growth journey, and we are looking for a new Business Development Executive to join our team in Germany. We’re passionate about making shipping easy, through creating a community of connected customers, partners and carriers on a single platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build revenue pipeline by setting introductory meetings with target influencers and key decision-makers
  • Research and build new accounts through rigorous outbound calling efforts and by creating/executing strategic email and social campaigns
  • Perform analysis of inbound and outbound prospects’ business and engage with these prospects by phone and/or email
  • Apply effective communication skills, collaborating directly with customers, sales and cross-functional teams
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, take the initiative to get stuff done, try new things and amplify your successes by sharing your findings with your team

Key skills required:

  • A passion for technology and software sales, 2 - 3 years of customer-facing experience is preferred
  • Must be fluent in German and English, written, reading and spoken
  • Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external)
  • A sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
  • The ability to thrive in a company environment of rapid change; reacting to management initiatives; taking the "customer view"; adopting the customer corporate ‘perspective’; accepting change to business/personal situations
  • Resourcefulness and results-driven operating style
  • Collaborative and coachable mindset - you should be excited about continuously improving your skills and impact
  • Experience working within the logistics / carrier / WMS / OMS / TMS / 3PL / e-commerce software industry
