About the job

As a QA Engineer at Memeland, you will work as a product team member to build and develop best-in-class web and app products. We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer, equipped with sound knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes to safeguard the quality of our products. This position is full time and remotely based on Hong Kong time-zone.




Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop software and infrastructure for test automation.
  • Design and develop test cases and scenarios for features and regression tests.
  • Improve and maintain test infrastructure to increase productivity in test case development, scheduling, or deployment.
  • Perform manual testing throughout each release.
  • Report defects and work closely with the development team to follow up on bug fixes.
  • Testing support on ad hoc projects.


Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Information System or equivalent majors.
  • Self-motivated with the ability and willingness to work in a remote-first organization.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Product QA, fresh graduates will also be considered.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance, strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Strong programming knowledge in JavaScript.
  • Experience in web frontend technologies such as React, Angular, VueJS.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Gitlab, Jenkins.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium is a plus.
  • Experience in the web3 industry would be advantageous.
  • Good logical thinking and team communication skils.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English required.
