Job Description

Conduct one-on-one consultations with mothers to assess breastfeeding challenges and provide personalised guidance and support.
Offer evidence-based information on breastfeeding techniques, positioning, latch, milk production, and addressing common breastfeeding concerns.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to mothers as they navigate the ups and downs of breastfeeding.
Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and best practices in lactation support to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Qualifications

Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), or equivalent certification.
Experience working with breastfeeding mothers and infants in a clinical or virtual setting.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with mothers and their families.
Knowledge of maternal and infant health, breastfeeding physiology, and common breastfeeding challenges.
Proficient in conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing evidence-based lactation support.
Commitment to promoting breastfeeding as the optimal feeding choice for infants and supporting mothers in achieving their breastfeeding goals.
