WHY YOU WOULD BE A FIT?

As a Data Scientist at Dispatch you will have the opportunity to work with various internal stakeholders by exploring data, technologies, and the application of mathematical and statistical techniques to both enable business insights and power the predictive models in our product. You will be an advocate for analytics adoption, an educator, a creative problem solver and mentor. Working within the Data Science team you will design and implement business intelligence solutions, mine and process data and analyze data to provide valuable business insights and the utilization of machine learning to enhance our product offerings.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT (should you choose us and we choose you!)

• Aid in the management of the business intelligence platform and ensure the business has access to the data it needs
• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes so that the data is readily available for business use
• Preprocess structured and unstructured data to ensure that the data used to drive the business is quality, consistent, and error-free
• Analyze large amounts of data to discover trends and patterns that inform/improve the business
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to benefit both the product and the business
• Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis that provide strategic insights to the business
• Present information in meaningful ways that are easily understood by the business using data visualization techniques
• Inform, influence, and support product decisions and development using data
• Propose solutions and strategies that address business challenges
• Collaborate with product and engineering to integrate data insights into the core product
  
  

What You Bring To The Team & Dispatch

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data science
• Familiar with various programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, or Python)
• Strong knowledge of data, reporting, and analytics
• Excellent written skills and highly articulate
• Desire and willingness to stay current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
• Experience with Looker, Redshift, Airbyte, or stitchdata is a plus!
  
  

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Compensation. The base salary range for this role is $120,000- $135,000 annually. We consider various factors in determining actual pay which include your skills, qualifications, experience, education or training, and location.
