About The Role

  • The Application Development Project Manager will lead and manage the software development lifecycle for various applications.
  • This role involves working closely with developers, designers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a deep understanding of application development processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.

What You'll Do

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA engineers, and business analysts.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
  • Manage team performance, provide feedback, and support professional development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Gather and document business requirements, ensuring that the development team understands the project objectives.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business needs.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
  • Escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
  • Track project expenses and ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
  • Optimize resource utilization across multiple projects.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure that applications are thoroughly tested before deployment.
  • Coordinate with QA teams to address any issues identified during testing.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on project progress, risks, and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project, Confluence).
  • Familiarity with programming languages, software development frameworks, and cloud-based environments is an asset.
  • Knowledge of database management, API integrations, and user interface design.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Final pay, influenced by factors such as experience, skills, education, licenses/certifications, and/or geographic location, underscores our dedication to pay equity. The Pay Range For This Role Is

60 - 70 USD per hour (Remote - United States)
