Senior Oracle Developer

Savantage Solutions is seeking a Senior Oracle application developer to support the full system development life cycle (SDLC) and implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), specifically Oracle Financials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Oracle Configuration, Extension, Modification, Localization, and Integration (CEMLI) modifications and integrations. using PL/SQL, Forms and Reports Oracle database (DB) 12c or later.
• Work with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) development framework and a strong understanding of Oracle Workflow and concurrent programs.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the development team and requirements team to understand system design and functions. Support the capture and translation of business requirements into technical requirements.
• Develop system design specifications.
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance.
• Develop, modify, and unit test program code per the system design and coding standards with minimal supervision.
• Perform code and peer reviews; participate in other review sessions.
• Support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing of the Oracle applications.
• Create and maintain project artifacts as needed to support the project.
• Provide advice and technological solutions to support clients' demands.
• Identify process improvements and develop technology integrations for business functions.
  
  

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Degree with 7+ years of hands-on technical development experience supporting and implementing Oracle EBS Oracle Financials. Experience with other Oracle EBS modules and other Oracle-based applications, a plus.
• Strong in PL/SQL, Forms and Reports, and Workflow development (i.e., customizations and extensions)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple task assignments.
• Strong technical knowledge of OAF development, including experience working with CEMLIs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with team members and business stakeholders.
• Strong written skills,
• Familiarity with Solutions Business Manager (SBM) Jira, GitLab, and other version management tools, a plus.
• Experience with APEX, a plus.
  
  

Education and Certification

• Bachelor of Science degree. Years of experience may be substituted for education on a one-for-one basis.
• Oracle certifications, a plus.
• One Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification such as Security+, a plus
