Job description

Sierra-Cedar is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Functional Financials Lead to join our robust PeopleSoft practice. The ideal candidate will have proven end-to-end PeopleSoft project experience leading Project Costing , aligning key deliverables and milestone metrics, and delivering comprehensive business solutions to clients. As a key member of our motivated team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers and consultants to develop, plan and implement PeopleSoft solutions across our growing practice.

This position requires approximately 30% travel to client sites (nationwide) as well as remote work from your home office within the United States only – International locations will not be considered. This full-time role may include working occasional nights and weekends to support project milestones .

Responsibilities

  • Provide key PeopleSoft functional consulting services by acting as Subject Matter Expert and leading clients through the entire systems development life cycle in Financials.
  • Work on all project phases including fit/gap, configuration, and testing
  • Assist clients in fully integrating the system into their current business environments and provide input on best practices
  • Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
  • Configure the system to meet each client’s unique business requirements

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree is required at a minimum
  • 6+ years' PeopleSoft experience
  • Experience in a Public Sector project environment
  • PeopleSoft v9.2 experience
  • Full lifecycle implementation and upgrade experience with Financials module - Project Costing
  • Ability to perform fit/gap analysis on business processes against the state and federal regulations
  • Ability to perform a system fit/gap analysis on the use of delivered PeopleSoft functionality
  • Ability to re-design business processes from the ground up for efficiency and to complement the use of the PeopleSoft Financials modules
  • Ability to prepare functional system requirements for system changes to support new business processes
  • Must be able to travel to client sites as needed
  • Must already reside in the US
