What You’ll Do On The Team

As a SAP S4 EWM Architect, you will be a member of Avvales Intelligent Enterprise team responsible for all greenfield and brownfield S4HANA implementations. You will be a trusted advisor to the client, bring a deep knowledge of SAP Systems and will collaborate with business partners to align technology solutions with business strategies.

You will be responsible for:

  • You will provide technical leadership to the client and bring insightful ideas as you work with business users to gather requirements specific to SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops and be responsible for presenting standard SAP process flows, conduct system demonstrations, and providing insight on how standard SAP processes can support a customers’ business process.
  • Participate in and at times lead pre sales demonstrations of S4HANA on-prem and S4HANA Cloud functionality
  • Maintain a high level of functional competency regarding the standard configuration of the Extended Warehouse Management area, by staying abreast of new trends, future enhancements and leveraging best practices.
  • Configure SAP systems, test new functionality, and provide on-going support based on requirements collected.
  • Research and document current business processes and provide process improvement recommendations to the business
  • Support cross-functional business processes in Finance, Manufacturing, Sales and Distribution with a focus on Supply Chain.
  • Develop and/or modify End User Training Documentation
  • You lead by example and serve as a mentor in the team by following best practices like thorough business process documentation and client requirements.
  • The relationships you develop will allow you to identify and recommend talented team members for future roles.
  • Your ability to communicate will build trust and enhance the relationship with the client. Allowing you to have tactful conversations that drive the innovation they are seeking. This will require you to direct tasks and work with varying levels of individuals, including managers, business owners and technical counterparts


What you’ll bring to the team

  • 10+ years’ SAP Functional experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management processes
  • 4+ end-to-end greenfield S4HANA SAP Extended Warehouse Management implementations, including hands-on design and configuration experience
  • You will have configured the following areas of EWM: Warehouse Structure, Inventory Management, Handling Units, Inbound Processing, Outbound Processing, Internal Warehouse Movements, Physical Inventory, Reporting (Warehouse Management Monitor, Analytics) Resource Management, Quality Management, Production Integration, IDOC integrations to 3rd party systems
  • Experience participating in and leading pre-sales engagements with prospective clients
  • Experience successfully leading project teams and mentoring junior team members
  • Experience with design, configuration and testing for core EWM components
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with partners and team members
  • Preferred but not required: You will have experience in Advanced Extended Warehouse Management areas such as, Material Flow Systems (MFS), Yard Management, Labor Management, Value Added Services (VAS), Warehouse Billing, Kitting, Dock Appointment Scheduling (DAS), Cartonization planning, Distribution Equipment, JIT.

Base salary range: 160 - 195k

  • Discretionary Annual Bonus Potential: up to 15% of base salary based on company and individual key performance indicators.
