What You’ll Do On The Team

As a SAP S4 FICO Architect you will be a key player in the Avvale Intelligent Enterprise team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations to the customer. As an Architect you will align technology with business strategy, working directly with the client gathering requirements to analyze, design and/or implement technology, SAP best practices, business changes to achieve defined business goals. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

You will be responsible for:

  • SAP application design, development, integration, testing, deployment and support
  • Research and document current business processes and provide process improvement recommendations to the business
  • Implement newly improved FICO and cross-functional business processes.
  • Manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within a consulting organization
  • Be a trusted advisor to the client by bringing unique and creative solutions that provide a path toward their goals.
  • As a trusted advisor you will lead and participate in the presales process through delivery.
  • Must have worked in distributed global delivery model
  • Accounting background preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling business functions
  • Strong SAP configuration/set up knowledge
  • Confident and client facing personality with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with project management highlighting strong planning and coordination skills
  • Experience and desire to work in a consulting environment that requires occasional travel


What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in SAP Finance (preferably S4HANA Finance or S4HANA Cloud)
  • Minimum of 4 end-to-end SAP Finance implementations, including hands-on design and configuration
  • Successfully led and contributed to Presales activities resulting in winning new business and/or growing existing business as well as ensuring quality delivery
  • Configuration and testing of CO-PC the other core FICO areas: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, CCA, CO-PA, CO-PC
  • Experience with designing custom solutions and interfaces between SAP & Non-SAP systems
  • Ideal but not required experience with SAP Group Reporting/BPC, Lease Accounting or Funds Management

Base salary range: 160 - 195k

  • Discretionary Annual Bonus Potential: up to 15% of base salary based on company and individual key performance indicators.
