Role: Senior Prospect Researcher for the East Region (Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia)

Location: US Remote with Eastern Time Zone preferred

Must have experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience, and 5-8 years work experience in research or related field.

01 The Job

As Sr Prospect Researcher for the East Region, you will perform complex research projects regarding domestic and global issues, involving multiple divisions, and providing in-depth analysis and interpretation impacting divisional and corporate strategy.   • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
  • Analyze existing and potential markets, making recommendations on current business practices and potential new ones.
  • Collect and analyze data on established and prospective donors and partners in order to improve WVUS' ability to engage with them effectively.
  • Prepare reports that interpret market conditions and potentials.
  • Coordinate research efforts throughout various departments, working closely with appropriate staff and leadership.
  • Identify appropriate resources for solving individual research problems and respond to quick reference research requests.
  • Manage the execution of project-oriented work efforts, meeting project objectives and expectations for time and cost.
  • May assign and monitor the work of other team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with team members when assigned to work as part of a team.
  • Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.

04 You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience.
  • In addition to education or education equivalent, requires work experience in research or related field; 5-8 years.
  • Knowledge of data analytics.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Prospect research experience, highly desired.
  • Knowledge in all MS Office suite and CRM system - intermediate to advance.
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative work environment.
  • Has strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communicator - verbal and written.

05 Salary Range & Benefits

The full range for this position is $69,356 - $108,024 annually. This applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. Typical hiring range is $78,000 - $90,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
