We are currently searching for a Remote Network Security Specialist:

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to LAN/WAN.
  • Configure network devices and resolve issues with TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, DHCP, and DNS.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain firewall devices, perform upgrades, and manage Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wireless connectivity issues and configure wireless controllers with Cisco and Ruckus technologies.
  • Monitor and optimize networks using tools like Total View or similar NMS systems, performing health checks to ensure network stability.
  • Troubleshoot VoIP and unified communications, including Cisco on-premise and RingCentral Cloud, and manage POTS line issues with vendors.
  • Work with various vendors, including ISPs and onsite contractors, to resolve network issues.
  • Create and maintain network documentation, such as SOPs, ensuring it reflects the current state of the network infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Expertise with network technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, DHCP, DNS, Cisco, Ruckus, and Arista.
  • Experience with network security and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Proficiency in SD-WAN, IPSEC, and wireless technologies (Cisco, Ruckus).
  • Familiarity with wireless protocols (802.11X, MAB, CAPWAP).
  • Knowledge of network monitoring systems (Total View or similar).
  • Experience with VoIP, unified communications (Cisco UC, RingCentral), and vendor management.

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Native Spanish.
