What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain sales compensation models using Varicent.
  • Configure and customize calculation rules and compensation plans on the Varicent platform.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and execute tests to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of configurations and customizations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Varicent end-users.
  • Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Train end-users and internal staff on the use and administration of Varicent.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to integrate Varicent with other enterprise systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest Varicent versions and updates, ensuring the organization maximizes new functionalities.


Requirements

What you should know to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Varicent or in similar sales compensation management roles.
  • Proven experience in configuring and customizing Varicent to meet specific business needs.
  • Deep knowledge of sales compensation principles and practices.
  • Strong programming skills and knowledge of relevant languages such as SQL.
  • Experience in system integration and handling large data volumes.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Project management experience and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
