Your missions

Description

We are seeking experienced candidates to oversee a portfolio of affordable housing property operations in the Southeastern US. The role involves leading regional operations, ensuring financial goals are met, and maintaining compliance practices while supporting on-site teams.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Regional Managers to achieve financial goals and conduct property visits.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and develop team members to maximize performance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with owners and management teams.
  • Lead regional communications, ensuring teams are updated on developments.
  • Visit properties to uphold and evaluate property standards in alignment with company goals.
  • Coach direct reports on budgeting, managing expenses, capital improvements, and maintenance expectations.
  • Support teams in resolving resident or employee conflicts.
  • Provide guidance on outstanding escalated resident concerns.
  • Ensure property management staff are aware of corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Regional Managers.
  • Develop in-depth analyses of property performance and generate actionable insights for operations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in leading affordable housing operations, with prior experience as a Regional Manager.
  • Background in managing Low Income Housing Tax Credit and HUD properties, along with compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with multiple landlords/ownership groups, managing assets and personnel, budgeting, and financials.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of building strong teams.
  • Demonstrated success in maximizing income aligned with company objectives and property budgets.
  • Proficiency in MS 365 and Yardi.

Location

This position is remote and can be based in Georgia, Tennessee, or Mississippi, US.

Compensation

Compensation is negotiable, ranging from \(140,000 to \)150,000, commensurate with experience, and includes benefits such as bonuses, healthcare, and a 401k match.
