As the Software Engineering Lead, this role is responsible for leading the front-end development team in designing, developing and maintaining software products, and requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on creating highly responsive, user friendly applications.

What will you be responsible for in the role?

• Lead the development and implementation of front-end applications using React, ensuring robust performance and a high-quality user experience.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic using C# and SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Oversee and mentor a team of front-end developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Work with design teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional and visually appealing interfaces.
• Manage and optimize workflows using Flux or Redux to maintain application state consistency.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and ensure the application s performance, scalability, and security.
• Utilize Figma for collaboration and design handoff with the UI/UX team.
  
  

What will you need to be successful in the role?

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Extensive React experience, ideally 8+ years
• Experience in Full Stack Development
• Experience with AngularJS, SQL, Flux/Redux, Figma
• Experience delivering successful front-end projects on time and within scope
• Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to the team
• Keep up to date with modern engineering technologies and best practice
• Experience with Agile ways of working
