Your missions

We are looking for a dedicated Estimator to join our team and contribute to our continued success from anywhere.

The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, analyzing construction costs, and preparing accurate estimates to support project bids and financial planning. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in construction, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine the scope of work and required materials.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Conduct virtual site visits and gather additional information as needed for accurate cost assessments.
  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders through virtual meetings and communication tools to identify and resolve potential issues or discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present bid proposals and cost estimates to clients and stakeholders via email and video conferencing.
  • Monitor and track project costs and provide regular updates to project managers and clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and changes in construction costs to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Assist in negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

  • With a minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients in a remote environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
