Senior Application Administrator (ShopFloor-MES)

Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defense and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, R4 plans to progressively expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring and support of ShopFloor/MES applications, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Implement and manage robust monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring continuous system availability.
• Ensure the security of MES applications by implementing and maintaining appropriate security protocols and access controls.
• Provide extensive 2nd Level Support & Coordinate 3rd Level issue resolutions.
• Participate in various projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives and SLAs.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Successfully completed college/university studies in the field of information technology or comparable vocational training
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the administration of mission-critical applications
• Extensive know-how in IT service management (ITIL) and the design of service processes as well as knowledge in project management, preferably with certification
• Initial knowledge of manufacturing company processes and/or logistics processes desirable
• Strong customer and goal orientation, strong teamwork skills and good communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong English knowledge

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE

• German language knowledge
• Knowledge of working with ERP systems (preferably SAP) desirable
• Willingness to travel
