Service Delivery Manager (VIE)

Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defence and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, R4 plans to progressively expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike.

What we are looking for

• Strategic partner and link between R4 and our key customer Rheinmetall, in Wien, Austria
• Active development of customer relationship and increase in joint value creation
• Identification of IT demands and specification of respective IT service requirements
• Coordination of service requirements with all customer contacts as well as clustering and prioritization
• Monitoring and enforcing the performance of contracted services and service levels
• Identification of problems affecting the service, proposing solutions and improving services
• Internal consultant for general IT development processes and interface to in-house IT delivery
• Drive the development of new services

Compilation and evaluation of regular performance reports, invoices, SLA statements and other contracted reports or documentation

What qualifications you should have

• Degree in business informatics, technical informatics or a comparable education
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Solid knowledge of IT landscapes and their evaluation in the context of service requirements
• Empathy and a feeling for managing customer needs at eye level with strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Project management and service delivery / development methodology skills
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working with problem-solving and entrepreneurial mindset
• Good proficiency in German and English and Hungarian (business level), both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel: 20-25% (primarily to Wien, Austria)

What qualifications would be nice to have

• Knowledge of the manufacturing industry or mechanical/plant engineering
• SAP and ITIL knowledge
• Having a residence in the northwestern part of Hungary, as a regular onsite visit at the customer location in Wien is necessary.
