Role Overview:

Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced Head of Product to spearhead product development and innovation tailored to the African market. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge and expertise in product management within the iGaming sector, with a focus on delivering cutting-edge solutions and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: The Head of Product will formulate and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with market dynamics and customer needs, driving product innovation and revenue growth.

2. Product Development: They will oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept ideation to market launch, ensuring that products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

3. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for product differentiation in the African gaming landscape.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including technology, design, marketing, and operations, to align product development efforts with business objectives and ensure seamless product delivery.

5. User Experience (UX) Optimization: Champion the optimization of user experience across all gaming products, leveraging user feedback, data analytics, and industry best practices to enhance engagement, retention, and monetization.

6. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, evaluating and integrating external solutions to complement internal product offerings and drive competitive advantage.

7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant gaming regulations and standards across all African markets, working closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and uphold regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management roles within the iGaming industry, with a focus on the African market preferred.

3. Proven track record of successful product development and innovation, with a deep understanding of gaming products, features, and technologies.

4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards achieving strategic product objectives.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and product optimization.

6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (knowledge of French is a plus).

7. A passion for gaming and a keen interest in understanding customer behavior and market trends.
