Job description

The ERP Project Manager is responsible for the oversight, coordination and planning of approved and assigned projects identified by Unify Steering Team, Unify Leadership and IT Leadership. The ERP Project Manager participates as a member of the Unify Core Team and works closely with key leadership in IT and across the organization to provide appropriate communication and ensure delivery of assigned projects. The ERP Project Manager provides strategic guidance to potential direct reports, internal customers, and third-party vendor partners. The ERP Project Manager is expected to provide and/or manage oversight of project plans, project life cycle, including project budgets, project planning, approval, implementation, reporting and evaluation of deliverables for assigned projects.

This position can be based remotely and requires 10% travel within the U.S.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Organize, develop and support delivery of project deadlines, budgets, and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization to support the portfolio of projects approved and assigned to Unify, including business requirements, project scope, budget, schedule, risk registers and mitigation plan, etc.
  • Ensure project standards are defined, consistent, and implemented across all projects delivered within Unify department.
  • Facilitate or support discussions with appropriate leadership staff to assist in the development of measurable success criteria related to approved projects.
  • Oversee, track and provide status reports for program/project and team performance to Unify Leadership, IT Leadership, ERP Project Manager, Project Sponsors, and all other identified key stakeholders.
  • Monitor program/project activity to ensure that staff are logging and tracking modifications appropriately through approved change control process.
  • Analyze and identify program/project risks. This includes ensuring all projects have created and actively manage a risk register.
  • Ensure the coordination, development and maintenance of “process documentation” and communication related to all approved and assigned projects occurs.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to team members with regards to workload, professional development, and adherence to internal policies and procedures. This includes leading staff in expanding their understanding of organizational goals, department goals, business processes and new technical skills to ensure customer satisfaction and execution of HFHI strategic objectives.
  • Ensure department goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, and team member performance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience of successful project management.
  • Minimum 3 full-scale Fin and HCM ERP Implementations in a global environment.
  • Proficient at leveraging program/project management methodology and proficient at working through and with others to deliver results that meet or exceed requirements and expectations with complex projects.
  • Ability to interface with, influence and provide excellent service to multiple levels of the organization (HFHI senior leaders, middle management, staff, and third-party vendors).
  • Ability to have difficult conversations where you may have to challenge ideas and offer alternative solutions.
  • Ability to obtain quality project status data, analyze it and present a consolidated program status view to decisionmakers.
  • Ability to assess, report and address common delivery risks: plan, portfolio, resources, realization infrastructure, and initiative roles.
  • Possesses strong skills in leading meetings, estimating, monitoring work, problem-solving.
  • Strong business process orientation and ability to document processes.
  • Self-motivated and able to organize work for others.
  • Able to work quickly with attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills.
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.

The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance.

For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $112,630 to $132,500.
